On the world’s most prestigious art stage, she perceives cosmic order through the spiritual eye and awakens civilizational harmony through the light of art.

In YIXI’s creative perception, art is the ultimate expression of human emotions, worldviews and spiritual dimensions. Painting is merely a concrete carrier of such expression, and what it ultimately presents is the artist’s ideological height, cognitive realm and spiritual dimension. She always breaks free from the creative shackles of traditional painters, abandons single technique narration and superficial visual expression, takes exploring the cosmic code and inquiring into the ultimate mysteries of life as the core of creation, and takes the in-depth integration of Eastern and Western civilizations as the context. Genuine inheritance of intangible cultural heritage is by no means copying traditional techniques or repeating past visual languages. Instead, it draws on the essence of skills and cultural core accumulated over thousands of years, integrates current spiritual perception and inner emotions, and carries out re-creation and re-expression in the context of the times. It makes historical heritage resonate with contemporary spirit, frees ancient intangible cultural heritage from the shackles of time, and revitalizes it with a new visual language that fits the times, achieving the creative realm of “inheriting ancient charm without being conservative, innovating without forgetting the root”. Number 1 corresponds to the spiritual eye at the center—the origin of all things in Pythagorean thought, the Taiji Wuji in the I Ching—the source of creation, the primal light connecting the individual to the cosmos, the divine perspective overlooking all beings, the exclusive channel between the human soul and the universe.

Number 6 manifests as six civilizational flowers: peony, lily, rose, olive, iris, and jasmine. Number 1 and 6 combine to form 7, the core of The Seventh Light. In Pythagorean cosmic numerology, 7 evolves from the Holy Grail of Truth 6, representing the innate pursuit of cosmic truth. It carries humanity’s sincere quest for the origin of all things, the highest frequency of spiritual ascension, and the core bridge between matter and spirit, finite and infinite—the ultimate expression of the work’s spiritual essence.

Number 3 and 7 combine to form 10, signifying all things returning to Oneness, cycling eternally, echoing the ultimate law of civilizational renewal and earthly rebirth.

Technically, the work achieves sublime unity of Eastern and Western art: rooted in Oriental intangible heritage, rendered with delicate fine brushwork, textured with the weight of rock painting and mural traditions; lifted by Western art, structured with light and shadow, infused with spiritual atmosphere through color. Its mottled texture symbolizes civilizational evolution; its golden halos imply the immortality of the divine. It revitalizes intangible heritage in the contemporary age and unites Eastern and Western art in both technique and spirit, becoming an exemplary work of collection value, philosophical depth, and civilizational significance.
